Paula Dominguez Molano, born in Reus, Spain, in 1998, earned her B.Sc. in Chemistry from the Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV) in 2020. Her bachelor's research focused on studying cobalt-catalyzed C-H trifluoromethylthiolation reactions at the Institut Català d'Investigació Química (ICIQ). She then completed the URV-ICIQ Master in Synthesis, Catalysis, and Molecular Design, working on the project "Transborylation Reaction of Alkenylboranes with Diboron Reagents and gem-Diboryl Alkanes" under Prof. Elena Fernández's supervision. In 2021, she was awarded an FPI scholarship to pursue a doctoral thesis on developing new synthetic methodologies with organoboron compounds. In October 2024, she successfully defended her thesis, titled "Contributions to Precise Skeletal Editing via Alkenylboranes," achieving Cum Laude distinction. Currently, she is a Postdoctoral researcher under the supervision of Prof. Elena Fernández in the CatBorChem research group.
